Thailand Guides - Uthai Thani

Thung Yai Naresuan and the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Reserve span the provinces of Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Tak, covering an area of over 5,700 kilometres. As the largest reserve in Thailand it features several distinct natural habitats and is home to a wide diversity of flora and fauna. As a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site an application to stay or study within the park is required to be submitted 15 days in advance.

Khao Tam Taphap is a cave set in the hill at Tambon Wang Hin. It is a complex of several linked caverns and features some particularly beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. Prehistoric tools have also been found within the cave.
