Thailand Guides - Phattalung

Thale Noi Waterfall Park is part of Songkla Lake. The massive expanse of water has been declared a no hunting zone in an effort to protect the dozens of waterfowl species that make the lake their home. Boat trips are available to enable visitors to get a closer look at the wildlife on the lake. The best time to visit for bird-watching is from December until April. Many beautiful pink lotus flowers that grow in the shallows bloom in the early morning. Local craftsmen also make woven matting from the bulrushes that grow here.
