Thailand Guides - Koh Kood![]() The marvelous waterfall Nam Tok Khlong Chao or Than Sanuk Waterfall, which was visited by King Rama VI in 1911, is one of the most spectacular spots to be found on Koh Kood. It consists of 3 tiers: the upper two are running streams and the lower one is a large pond that brims with glittering water all year round, such an ideal place for soaking and swimming. ActivitiesBeside being lazy on the beach, snorkeling at the beautiful coral reefs or watching stars at night, one can also visit the nearby islands Koh Kra, Koh Maisi Lek or Koh Raet Koh Kra which is meant to be one of the most beautiful diving grounds in the Gulf of Thailand. Some of the more expensive Resorts on Koh Kood offer Banana-, Donut-boat-trips and water-skiing. In addition you can do drop line fishing at the beaches and bays or rent a boat for over night fishing. Bays dot the perimeter of the island with accommodation on Ao Prao, Ao Tapao, Ao Yai Kerd, Ao Klong Chao, Ao Klong Ta Din, Ao Klong Yai Kee, Ao Klong Hin, and Ao Ngam Koh. Time to visitThe monsoon season in Koh Kood starts from July to October. The best time to visit the islands is between January to April. Page: 1 2
