Cruising the River of Kings

The best way to experience a leisurely life on the "River of Kings" is an overnight journey aboard the Mekhala back into the past of Thai civilization.

Note : Minimum 2 persons traveling together.

Day 1 - Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Mekhala (Lunch, Dinner)

Travel for about 1 1/2 hours, by minibus, to Ayuthaya. Visit the ruins of the once thriving capital of Thai Kingdom. Lunch at a local restaurant and travel to the Bang-Pa-In district by a long-tail boat to explore the Summer Palace (no sleeveless shirts or top and shorts allowed in the palace). Then board the Mekhala and cruise down the Chao Phraya River to Wat Kai Tia. Dinner and overnight on board Mekhala.

Day 2 - Mekhala-Bangkok (Breakfast)

Breakfast on board the Mekhala. Cruise down the Chao Phraya River to Bangkok for a scenic view of the Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn. Arrive late morning in Bangkok.
