Summer, which starts from March until May, brings hot and dry weather throughout Thailand with temperatures between 28 and 35 Celsius. Even though it is usually hot and dry at this period of the year, it is a perfect time for beachgoers who like to bask in the sun.? From June to September, the country is wet and evergreen as the rainy season begins.? However, the best time for visiting Thailand climate-wise is the cool season that starts from in November and ends in February. During this cool season, the temperature is between 18ºC to 32ºC in Bangkok. In northern and northeast Thailand, temperatures can be as low as 8ºC to 12ºC with the 20ºC during the day. Nights can be chilly and at high altitudes the temperatures can drop below freezing. The summer starts from March to June. At this time temperatures in Bangkok is around 34ºC, but can often reach 39ºC. April is the hottest month of the year, that's why the water festival was invented too cool people off. From August to October is the monsoon season. The humidity is just under 90%, with temperatures averaging around 29ºC in Bangkok.? At best this season can be described as unpredictable, there is no constant downpour of rain like you would expect. The northern part of the country may see more rain in August and September while the southern coast is usually hit by monsoon rain in October and November. |
