A Bridge in The Jungle

A trip to World War II's historic bridge. Take a train ride on the Death Railway along the Kwai River and enjoy the lush mountainous landscape of Kanchanaburi Province.

Day 1 - Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak - River Kwai (Lunch)

Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok and then depart for a visit to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Continue to Kanchanaburi; visit the Bridge of the River Kwai upon arrival. Then, board the original Death Railway Train to Nam Tok station passing over the wooden viaduct along the mountain. Arrive at Nam Tok station, transfer a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, continue to River Kwai Resotel. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at River Kwai Resort Hotel.

Day 2 - Kanchanaburi (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a visit of Lava Cave by long tail boat and continue to Sai Yok Yai Waterfalls with its stunning jungle back for swimming.

Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, return to the resort by a long tail boat and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at River Kwai Resotel (standard room).

Day 3 - Kanchanaburi - Bangkok (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the Khmer temple "Prasart Muang Sing" and the informative "Thailand - Burma Railway Centre" a newly opened museum. Afterward proceed to Nakhon Pathom. Visit Phra Pathom Chedi, the largest pagoda in Thailand. Depart for Wat Thumasala to visit the most beautiful crematoria in Thailand.

Lunch at a local restaurant. In the late afternoon, arrive at your hotel in Bangkok.
